Luggage Handle


1 – 12”x5” piece very bright, bold fabric

1 – 5”x6” piece very light weight batting or flannel

Approx. 40” of 2 1⁄2” wide fabric for binding Velcro piece 3⁄4” wide x 5” long


Fold 12”x5” fabric with wrong sides together making a 6”x5” piece placing batting in middle.

Sew together with 1⁄4” seam.

Quilt the piece with favorite quilting method.

Sew the soft side of the Velcro to the 5” side.

Turn piece over and sew the sticky side of the Velcro to the opposite side of the handle so that when turned in a tube, the Velcro will stick together.

Bind using the 2 1⁄2 strip.

 

 

Handle Wrap without Binding:


1 – 12 1⁄2” x 5 1⁄2” piece very bright fabric

1 – 5 1⁄2” x 6 1⁄4” piece very light weight batting or flannel

Velcro piece 3⁄4” wide x 5” long


Fold fabric with right sides together with batting on one of the sides.

1⁄4” seam leaving an opening for turning.

Turn and close opening.

Quilt piece with favorite quilting method.

Follow above directions for attaching Velcro.
